Respected Sir,
I Padam Thapa, father of Shiva Thapa, I am glad to inform you that Shiva won Silver medal in Youth World Championship 2010, Azerbaijan, Baku and also qualified for Youth Olympic Games. Sir I went to meet you Gangtok but unfortunately I do not got the chance to meet you. Sir I want to say you that you have told me by e-mail dateSat, Aug 15, 2009 at 1:26 PM that you would provide financial support to Shiva Thapa for his abroad boxing training.
Sir, I also want to say you that an foreign coach came to Pune and Shiva is doing training with him but the training expenditure is very high as his per day diet must be 5000 calorie, energy drinks and Boxing equipment kits etc. His monthly expense is near-about 30,000 ( Thirty thousands) and its becoming very difficult to manage this for me as my financial position is very weak. Till now I was managing by taking loan from banks and my friends and relatives.
Sir I have a great hope and expectation from Sikkim government to help me by providing financial support to Shiva Thapa. Shiva will have well preparation for Youth Olympic Games, Singapore, August 2010 and also for Olympics Games London, 2012. I am happy to inform to you that Shiva Thapa in now World Ranking 22nd 2010.

International Achievement of Shiva Thapa : -
i) Hyder Aliyeve Cup 2008
In this tournament Shiva Thapa Won Gold in 2008 in Azerbaizan, Russia. In India history first time.
ii) IV Children of Asia Games 2008
Shiva Thapa Won Bronze in 2008 in Yakutsk, Yakutia.
iii) World Junior Boxing Championship 2009
In the history of Assam first time in Junior Level Tournament Shiva Thapa Won Bronze in Armenia, Yerevan in 2009.
iv) World Youth Boxing Championship 2010
Biggest achievement in 2010 in Azerbaizan, Baku in 2010. In this tournament he won Silver Medal first time in the history of Assam in Youth Level tournament.
v) He has further qualified to take part in Youth Olympic Games, Singapore in 14th August, 2010.
vi) He is in World Ranking No. 22nd by International Boxing Federation 2010.
vii) Shiva Thapa has won 5 (five) Gold Medal at State Level Championship.
vii) In National Level 4 (four) Gold and 1(one) Bronze.
vii) Shiva Thapa also won Best Boxer in National, 2007.
viii) Shiva Thapa also won Best Technical Boxer, 2008.
